Hiking with Grandma

We went on a hike today with Grandma Butterfield up to Cecret Lake. It was so beautiful up there. I expected the temperature to be a little chilly, but it was about 80-85. Really nice! We hiked up to the top and had lunch by the lake. The boys did OK. They had a hard time on the way up, mainly cuz they were hungry. But going down was a little easier.

Look! Snow in August!




We made some little buddies up there. The boys were chasing this little bird around everywhere, and it stayed about 2 feet away...Probably use to all the visitors.


There were chipmunks everywhere! They were so cute. This one held still long enough for me to snap a pic.
