Week 2

Our second week of summer has been full of fun! (you kinda have to expect that with 3 boys). We've played with tons of friends. Tyler made this new friend at one of Ashton's games who has a huge house with a pool and 5 fountains. He had a blast swimming over there. We had 7 kids (including mine) over here yesterday and went exploring in the "woods" (Woodland Park). They now have a secret fort there that NO ONE is to know about....shhhhhh..... =)
We learned about water and how it freezes and melts. Here's a picture of Ashton trying to hammer his toys out of their ice prison. Ya like his protective mask? =)

Here's a cool snake skin the boys found in our back yard. We like to think it's from our garter snake buddy that visits us frequently. We've all had a chance to hold him. You may be thinking "Ewww!" but I think snakes are so cool.

And here's a picture of the boys doing what they do best...EXPLORING! They didn't even want me to go exploring with them. "Mom, only boys are allowed to go exploring."
"Oh...sorry, I didn't know that. I'll just be over here playing with my dollie." Someday they will figure out I'm like...the coolest mom ever!

I like snakes too. I also think bugs are pretty cool. My kids think it's hilarious that I'm not scared of bugs or spiders or snakes, but I just really find them fascinating. Anyway, I've also recently been informed of the things girls aren't allowed to do! It sounds like our boys think the same!

What? They don't know! You ARE the coolest mom ever! All I do is make my boys take naps! Maybe they should come live @ the Butterfields!:)
