I've Given Up!

Blogging is like the last thing on my list of priorities right now. As I sit here looking through pictures from this summer, it just overwhelms me. I have too many, I don't even know where to start. As I write, I'm waiting for my 6th batch of jars in the canner to process (I am currently canning tomato soup), my house is utterly destroyed, my dog has been neglected, and my laundry is dirty and/or needs to be folded. On a positive note...my boys are all in bed, the house is quiet, and I'm counting down the days (2) till the BOYS ONLY camping trip. I can't wait! Want to hear what I plan to do? Well, I will be starting off my alone time with a very LONG, very needed nap. Then I will be DEEP DEEP DEEP cleaning my house. It has not been really done since the beginning of the summer. I plan to throw away old broken toys, puzzles, and games (shhh...), and sanitizing the boys' rooms. I will be scrubbing and organizing every cupboard and closet in my house. I will be scrubbing the fridge in and out, the bath tub, the toilet, the windows, the sinks, the floor boards, the vents, the light fixtures....hmmm... What am I leaving out? Oh, the garage! Brady usually does it, but I do it better. I'm the one who destroys it anyway. Don't ask me how; it has to do with just throwing random things I find inside the house out there. Then, eventually the pile I make on the table in the garage falls over and I usually just leave it....or Brady throws it out. Pretty lame, I know....
Anyway...when I'm done performing a much slower version of Mary Poppins magic on mi casa, I plan to do a little shopping, pampering myself, relaxing, and hanging out with some friends. Or....maybe I'll just take another nap. =0)

For my family who are dying for updated pictures of the boys, the garden, and all the crazy adventures we've been up to....well, I'm sorry....you're just going to have to wait. =0) Right now, my time has decided to fly out the window. As soon as I catch it, I'll be better about updating this thing. Also know....you will be getting a lovely video for Christmas that should keep you entertained for at least 6 months.
