Christmas and a Funeral

You may think our Christmas this year was full of sadness and grief, but it honestly was the best Christmas the family has ever had. Through the passing of Brady's little brother, we have learned so much about the Savior's love and the atonement, which is what Christmas is all about. We know Jordan's in a wonderful place with the Lord and we have had confirmation that he's with us in spirit. It's amazing how we went from devastation to feeling peace and comfort in that short week. We sure are going to miss him though. He was the best brother and uncle anyone could ask for.
We did have a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed being with the entire family so much. Here are some pictures from Christmas. Notice how everyone is happy, despite what we have all gone through.

Jordan's funeral was the day after Christmas. There were so many people there- Probably a total of 800. Jordan was known by so many and it was fun to see all the people who loved him and supported the Butterfields. Here are some pictures from the funeral.

It was a beautiful day outside....not a cloud in the sky.

Notice the beautiful blue of his casket; that is the same color as his car. We're all sure he is very pleased with it. There is even and STI sticker on it.

I just loved the sprays. They were so beautiful, and looked really good with the blue of the casket.

Jordan's friends loved the STI sticker. I saw many kids taking pictures of it.

Mel's toes were freezing...and Brady, being the wonderful brother he is, took care of her.
