Random Events from June

Here are some pictures of the boys making Rice Crispy treats. They were so cute cuz they were working so well together. I love moments like that.....

This year, we decided not to spray our cherry tree cuz last year we spent the money, and they were FILLED with worms. I wasn't even going to waste time with the cherries this year. Well, we were all out there one day and I decided to check them out. I opened one....no worms....another.... no worms! I was so excited! I picked a bucket of them, took them inside and pitted them. NO WORMS!!! Yay!!! They were so delicious! Cherries are one of my favorite fruits. We shared them with friends and family and then ate all the others raw. I think the rainy weather this year had an effect on them. I guess the worms got all rained out!

And here's our yard buddy. He hangs out in the front yard and eats all the spiders. Brady's sure he's the one from last year. Every time he sees him, he brings him in to show everyone. This time, he almost took a bath with Lochlin. He wasn't too fond of the bubbles! We love garter snakes. They're great if you have a garden or lots of pretty flowers you don't want ruined by crickets and caterpillars.

And here's Brady's new toy. We're going to Lake Powell in August, and he thought it'd be fun to be able to land a plane on the lake. So, he got the plane, and bought floats for it. Pretty sweet, eh?
