Christmas Questions

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? I actually really like gift bags. You can make them look so cute. I get the ones from Costco and I love them. I also love being able to reuse bags when I get them from others.
2. Tree--Real or Artificial? Oh, definately real. We've had a real tree every year since we've been married. Our new tradition is that we go up to the mountains and chop one down. The permit is only $10 and the trees last FOREVER!
3. When do you put the Christmas tree up? Usually the weekend after Thanksgiving.
4. When do you take the tree down? About the 2nd or 3rd week in January.
5. Like egg nog? Not really. Brady likes it though.
6. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes, we have one that the boys set up every year. My mom would send me a different figurine or two every year for Christmas, and now I think I have them all.
7. Favorite gift received as a child? Santa brought me a hampster one year. I think that was the best! I loved animals.
8. Hardest person to buy for? I think Brady is cuz everything he WANTS is so expensive, and then sometimes I need him to tell me where to get things cuz he's got so many hook-ups on line and stuff, so it's hard to surprise him!
9. Easiest person to buy for? The boys...they love anything and everything they get.
10. Worst Christmas gift? I don't think I've gotten a gift that was so bad that I'd remember it as that.
11. Mail or email a Christmas Card? Mail.
12. Favorite Christmas movie? The Polar Express
13. When do you start shopping forXmas? This year I started around October
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Yeah, probably.
15. Favorite food to eat on Christmas? I love tasting all the different varieties of cookies. Then I try to make the ones I like next year.
16. Clear or colored tree lights? I like both. It all kinda depends where you're putting them.
17. Favorite Christmas Song? What Child is This?
18. Travel during Christmas or Stayhome? I love staying home and being with family. Traveling is too stressful during that time of year, especially with kids.
19. Can you name Santa's reindeer's? Yep, all 9.
20. Angel or Star on the tree top? We have a star.
21. Open presents on Christmas Eve or morning? I don't like too, but we have to get up so early Christmas day to go to Great Grandma's house (it's tradition), so we open all the gifts to us that are under the tree on Christmas Eve, and then the boys don't get so overwhelmed the next day. The presents from Santa are always the favorites. It's no fun to have to open them real quick and then have to leave.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? Crowds....not so nice crowds.
