Fun-filled week

The boys have been wanting to have a lemonade stand for the longest time. They want to save up money for a trampoline. Well, we went through all the trouble; making the signs and the lemonade, borrowing a table from our neighbors, trying to keep the lemonade cold....and they made a whopping $2 (most of that was from me....I was thirsty!) They were a little disappointed when not EVERY car stopped to buy their lemonade, but I think they had fun anyway. They definately didn't have a problem drinking the leftovers!

We've got a golden ticket!!! This week for our field trip, we went to the Sweets Candy Factory. It was so neat! I've decided that if I ever get a job, it's going to be in the chocolate room of that factory. It smelled sooooooo yummy! Jen said it's probably what heaven smells like. =) We weren't allowed to bring cameras on the tour, but I got some shots of the kids in their cute little hair nets. Lochlin got kinda sick of his...he kept throwing it on the ground. So, if you have a piece of blonde hair in your chocolates, you'll know who to blame! We had a fun time. If ever you have the chance to go, I'd recommend it. You even get to sample the candy all throughout the tour. The boys thought the taffy right off the machine was the best. It was still warm!

Ya gotta love the slip-n-slide! The boys had a friend come over and they had so much fun racing down the slide. I love their faces in some of these!
