April Fools!

Last night for April Fools, I made cupcakes for dinner. Not really, of course. They were meatloaf cakes with colored mashed potatoes spread on top for icing. My boys fell for it though. Ashton even got mad at me and wouldn't eat them. He rushed home from a friend's house when Tyler told him we were having cupcakes. Lochlin wouldn't eat cuz Ashton kept saying they were gross, but Tyler, Brady, and I really enjoyed them.

I found the idea online, but of course used my own recipe. I even got creative and dyed some coarse salt with food coloring to sprinkle on top.
