First of all, I have to explain all the dog hair on Lochlin's shirt in these pictures. It's discusting, I know. We have been watching our friends' lab for a little longer than we expected and he was THE hairiest dog ever. I had to vacuum every other day and the vacuum would get totally full of hair. It was crazy. We had found him a new home, but that week was so busy that it was four days before I was able to vacuum. Lochlin had been rolling around on the floor with our dog, Zoli, and...well, that explains the hair. Our house is not usually that gross, I promise. Our dog doesn't even shed.
Ok, so anyway....Lately, I've been having a hard time getting Lochlin to eat. He has become so picky and just really frustrating. He'll say he wants something....I make it for him, and he says "I don't want it". So, I decided I'd let him make his own food. It totally worked! He made this bologna and cheese sandwich by himself and ate the entire thing! I couldn't believe it! So, we've learned that if we let him either make it, stir it, pepper it, cheese it, cut it, spread it, or just be a part of making the meal, he'll usually eat it.

Good job Lochlin! You and Belle can be picky eaters together. She had fun eating with you last week.
